Linda Fontijn (Amsterdam) made her debut in 2004 with a children’s book entitled Doorzetten (Perseverance), which belongs to a theme series for schools and libraries. In 2005, a children’s book (Edgar) and novel (Wisselkoorts) were published at the same time. Her columns appeared in businesswomen’s glossy Salomé. Short stories were published in literary running magazine 42 and in the short story collection Runner’s high (2011, Nieuw Amsterdam).

Her second novel, Bezoedeld, about a true-crime miscarriage of justice, was published in 2013.

Autumn 2024 her third novel was published. Hunger is about the dynamics of love and the psychology of a toxic relationship.

What else is being worked on?

A fourth novel, in which sustainability in the fashion industry, selfishness and love are major themes, is in the works. But the focus for now is on promoting Hunger until this novel has landed well.
